Cognia is the largest community of educators in the world, is headquartered in Atlanta – United States and is present in 85 countries. Its objective is to optimize all processes that affect the quality of curricular programs under international standards and promote high quality in institutions. Colegio Jefferson among 14,000 private schools in the country, is one of the (29) prestigious institutions in Colombia and one of the (3) in Valle del Cauca, to have this international certification that endorses and supports its high quality processes. In addition, it allows us to award a double degree to our students upon graduation: the North American High School diploma and the Colombian Bilingual Baccalaureate diploma.
On June 2, 2021, we obtained the Great Place to Study certification that certifies the high levels of well-being and happiness of the Jefferson community: students, teachers, parents and collaborators. Colegio Jefferson managed to obtain a score of 4.8 out of 5, becoming the school with the highest average in Learning Experience registered so far in Colombia and with this it became part of the Top 50 Great Schools Colombia of Great Place to Study.
