“I´m always looking for a windy place,” is the phrase that our 11th grade student, María Paula Moreno, best identifies with. She fell in love with the sport of kiteboarding as soon as she started practicing when she was twelve. Kiteboarding is a surface water sport combining aspects of wakeboarding, snowboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding, skateboarding and gymnastics into one extreme sport. Maria Paula has won first place for two consecutive years at the Kite Addict’s Colombia Tournament at Cabo de la Vela in both the Freestyle and the Twin Tip categories, she placed second in the 2015 Valida Nacional Lago Calima and first place in the 2016 Naish Kiteboarding Competition´s Big Air female category. Congratulations, María Paula!
